Though I usually end up playing a more offensive support, like Leona or Lulu. Leona can stun for a really long time, letting her teammate burst down the enemy, while Lulu's set is versatile enough to poke incredibly hard, buff her teammate really well, or get the hell out (See: Ult, Whimsy on ally, and Help, Pix! yourself).
All in all, supports make or break a game. Sad to see most people don't like playing them.
thats why im not fond of leon blitz and taric.
i tried lulu too many times but i still fail when i play as her XD
the best supporting champions are soraka janna sona and karma. i usually make their build with 2 supporting items + ap items (like archangelss taff and rabadon) and lots of wards :3
the last three ranked games that i played today i had to "fight" so i could be a support. ive never seen that
I prefer melee-based supports, since it's easier to not autoattack when im hiding in the bushes while my carry is trying to farm.
